He was born in Alcobaça (DEFAULT) and is an Agricultural Engineer.
For almost 40 years he has dedicated himself to photography, which for him is a semi-professional hobby, considering that it is through photography that he can express the sensibility caused by the perceptions, sensations, and emotions with which he sees his surroundings.
He has been in more than 60 collective or individual exhibitions in Portugal, Germany, Mozambique and Poland and is represented in the collections of several private collections and entities in Portugal and Mozambique.
Author of posters, catalogs and published in local, regional and national newspapers and magazines, he was recently published in the books Diálogos em Preto & Branco (#3), 2020 and A Arte de Fotografar - Preto e Branco (#8), 2022, Ed. God Publishing and saw his work highlighted in groups such as B&W Planet (Master of Photography), Huawei Portugal Photography or World Best Top Photographer Association (Top Photo Page WBTP Editor's Choice).
He coordinates the Photography course (Specialization) at LSD - Lisbon School of Design XXI, where he teaches History of Photography, Technical Aspects of Photography and Portfolio Construction.
