Challenge: LSD Outdoor Patio Faro

With the construction of LSD Faro in progress, LSD's Management issued a challenge to our Garden Design students: design an outdoor patio with exclusive access to the school.

Did you know that the next LSD has a premium location in the historic center of Faro? The classrooms have a privileged view of the Marina. The remaining circulation areas, reception, auditorium and small group rooms have access to a rooftop, an outdoor space with exclusive access to our school.

Unique opportunity to test your knowledge and talent.

The desire to involve students and alumni in the school's projects was at the origin of this challenge. The briefing is simple and stimulating: 

• - Present a proposal for an outdoor living space that stands out as an extension of the indoor space
• - Working in teams
• - Put to the test the skills acquired in the Garden Design course
• - Explore creativity to the maximum, in covering materials, outdoor furniture and vegetation
• - Maintaining LSD brand DNA
• - Deadline: June 23

Under the coordination of Prof. Miguel Pinheiro, the students have a unique opportunity to test their knowledge and talent and, who knows, see their proposal being implemented.

It will be an honor to have the collaborative signature of our students at LSD Faro.
